Funny and unexpected

I bought this book for my girlfriend who is a big Ralph Wiggum fan. When it arrived, I was shocked to see what a thorough exploration of the character it was. I'm not saying it's all canon in terms of the show, as i saw some complaints that there was stuff in this book that wouldn't make sense to the Ralph character (such as his love for Lisa) due to them "breaking up" in a past episode, but come on, that's a hogwash complaint. The whole point of this book is to entertain, and it does so in spades, so it comes highly recommended. And this is coming from a huge 'The Simpsons' fan himself.

Oh, and by the way, my girlfriend loved it, too.

this book is smaller than I thought it would be but it was so jam packed full of information ,my 12yo has not enjoyed a book so much in years , we had to tag team reading it to him as he did not want to stop , it was so funny as well

Awesome novella. I loved it. It moves a little fast but it sure packs a lot into so few pages. This little novella also does a great job at demonstrating Cynthia Eden's writing style and personality, so if you want to try out her books but want to start with a small stand-alone novella before you dive into her other paranormal romance series, then this is a great place to start.

Short and fantastic!

This was more of a novella but Cynthia Eden knows how to write! This is a complete story with danger, mystery and instant attraction that turns in to love. Mick is the hardened ex cop and Savannah is the femme fatale vampire. I felt like I was in an old black and white Dick Tracey movie. It was fantastic!

Full Circle Love Story

I have been waiting for this book from the moment I finished Flawed and Damaged. We are swept back to the story of Liz & Ryan. Who love each other even though they have both feel their hearts were flawed and damaged. Ryan is keeping a secret and he must come clean to Liz but will
it tear their relationship apart?? Ryan loves Liz so very deeply that he would do anything to protect her. Ryan learns that sometimes doing what you think is best to protect the one you love can lead to secrets and lies and that can tear your world apart. Find out if Liz and Ryan get their HEA. LOVED this full circle romance!! Kudos to Emily Krat!! Can't wait to read more from her.

I screamed, I cried....

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I delved straight into this book after finishing book 1, I literally could not wait to find out what happens next for Elizabeth and Ryan especially after the way book 1 ended.

WOW there was moments in this book when I wanted to shout "WHAT THE F**K???"" And I wished that Ryan could step outside the pages so I could slap him into next week!! I mean come on!!! I'm not giving anything away in this review because it will ruin it.

As well as the screaming I also cried a lot reading this. I had already fell in love with the characters in book 1 and to see Elizabeth go through the things she has to in this one just broke my heart.

Beautifully written story even if it is a little confusing as to why it was written the way it was.

Beauty in the ugly....

Having met under dubious circumstances in an airport in Moscow in Flawed and Damaged, Book One in the series, their love story is one involving much heart break and uncertainty. Continuing in Fears and Scars is their faltering romance and their journey to accept themselves, flaws and all. Liz relocated to Moscow, five years ago, to live with her Grandma after a tragic aeroplane accident made her an orphan. Fate is often cruel as her life line quickly succumbs to Alzheimer's and Liz struggles to manage the financial burden and her education. Her job leads her to cross paths with the enigmatic Ryan, a self made powerful man, with a past full of his own horrors. Drawn to one another's damaged souls they stumble toward each other in the dark that consumes them. Book One leaves the readers with hope that they can find their happily ever after although they still have a mountain to climb...

Fears and Scars continues their tale of stilted but all consuming love for one another. The choices they make impact heavily on their future dreams and the path they chose is a difficult one to travel. Liz is finally happy and ready to plan her future but once again life throws a curve ball. Ryan is desperate to ensconce Liz in his love and protect her from any more hurt. Yet in doing so he risks losing the one thing he can't live without, her love. Stubbornly refuting the consequences of his decisions Ryan rushes head first into situations to valiantly protect his heart - Liz. But is the cost too great? Can trust ever be rebuilt once its broken? Will true love really conquer all?

Ryan is beautifully flawed by his upbringing, and a little slow to learn from his previous mistakes. His heart is large and his intentions are pure yet his choices leave devastation in their wake. Stripping back the layers of deceit reveals so much more and leaves Liz reeling...can she accept her truth? Will she be able to forgive Ryan once she learns the whole story?

An emotional train wreck is the only way to describe the way this book made me feel. Two perfectly broken souls find the path of redemption together but they can't resist the temptation of further sin along the way. Fearing to trust, fearing to love causes them anguish and pain that leaves scars. Ryan...sigh...has a heart of a lion, strong and resolute. He is so full of wonderful intentions that he is blind to the damage his knight in shining armour persona causes. Liz is left reeling from one revelation after another...I loved it. It was a superb conclusion to a story that had me hooked. I fell hard for Ryan and Liz in Flawed and Damaged and Fears and Scars cemented their place in my heart. I was so invested in their happily ever after that I was sat gasping at the sheer shock factor at certain points, the hard decisions they had to make and the challenges thrown in their path. I loved Emily Krat's writing style and the powerful emotions she is able to convey with her story lines and characters. The epilogue ....ahhhhhhhh no words. Beautiful. Hopefully we visit Mark and Nina maybe sometime soon!

A five star there is beauty even in the ugly read.

Best way for me to learn guitar

If you need to hear a song to learn to play it this is the holy grail of guitar books. Picked it up and in a week could play wish you where here all the way through quite well and am now working on money. This is a great self learning tool and I would definitely recommend it.

Great book with accurate tab!

This is an excellent book for those wanting to learn some Floyd songs! The tab is accurate for those, like myself, that don't read music (yet). The CDs are nice as well, providing a "cover" version of the song and a version with the guitar track removed so you can practice. What really shines about the CDs is the fact that you can loop sections of the music so you can get it down and slow down the track without changing the pitch! You can also change the key. Pretty nifty!

Definitely worth the cost!

Really well-written

This is a great book, very well written by (I think) the foremost expert on project management for small business. Sid Kemp also happens to be a superb writer. My experience reading this book (twice) was enjoyable and crystal clear. The writing is personal, and neither dry not 'cutesy.' I found it a pleasure to read and the content invaluable.

Don't let the words "project management" put you off. It's a great introduction to an enormously practical topic. It is hard for me to imagine anyone who wants to run their business better not benefiting from it.

Overall I think it is a really good read ,and ideal for someone who is in the planning stages of creating their own business. It breaks down why planning is important. The real reason why it needs to done ,and how to turn those plans into a reality.

Great for a "never owned a home" person

I bought this for my nephew who is a new home owner and was never really taught how to do things around the home. I skimmed through this and found it was very easy and descriptive reading...making it easy to understand for someone just starting out. He's a very smart quy and I'm sure he'll pick things up quickly!
